METEROL Tablet Metoprolol 50mg

Indications / Uses: 
Metoprolol 50mg is indicated for the management of hypertension, angina pectoris, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and prevention of recurrent myocardial infarction. As a selective beta-1 blocker, it reduces heart rate and cardiac workload, improving cardiovascular function.

Dosage/Directions for use: 
Adults: The usual starting dose is 50mg once or twice daily, depending on the indication. The dosage may be adjusted based on clinical response. The maximum recommended daily dose is 400mg.
Administration: Metoprolol 50mg is administered orally. The tablet should be taken with or immediately after meals and swallowed whole with water. Take the medication at the same time each day.
Contraindications: This product should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to metoprolol or other beta-blockers. It is contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree atrioventricular block, cardiogenic shock, uncompensated heart failure, severe hypotension, or severe peripheral circulatory disorders.
