AMLIFE Losartan Potassium 100mg/ Amlodipine besilate 5mg Tablet

Indications / Uses: used to treat hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medication. This combination therapy works by relaxing the blood vessels, improving blood flow, and reducing the workload on the heart. It is indicated for the management of high blood pressure and helps lower the risk of cardiovascular complications.

Dosage/Directions for use: 

• Adults (18 years and older): Take 1 tablet once daily. Do not take more than 1 tablet within 24 hours.

• Children and adolescents under 18 years: This medication is not recommended for use in this age group.

• Maximum daily dose: 1 tablet per day.

For the long-term management of chronic hypertension, treatment is typically continued as prescribed by a physician. Do not adjust the dose or discontinue treatment without consulting your healthcare provider.

Administration: May be taken with or without food

Contraindications: should not be used by individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its active ingredients or to other dihydropyridine compounds. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or biliary cirrhosis and should not be used during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
