DIAMIR - Gliclazide Tablet 30mg

Indications / Uses: 
is indicated for the management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes) in adults. It is prescribed when dietary adjustments, regular physical activity, and weight management alone are insufficient to achieve proper blood glucose control. 
Dosage/Directions for use:
As directed by a Physician
Administration: administered orally and should be taken with food, preferably during a meal.
Contraindications: should not be used in individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to gliclazide, sulfonylureas, sulfonamides, or any component of the formulation. It is contraindicated in patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus (insulin-dependent diabetes), diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic pre-coma, or coma. Use should also be avoided in individuals with severe kidney impairment or severe liver dysfunction, as these conditions may increase the risk of adverse effects and affect the safe use of the medication.
