NOVAMOL - Paracetamol Susp 250mg/5ml 60ml

Indications / Uses: 

NOVAMOL Paracetamol Suspension 250mg/5mL is indicated for the temporary relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and children. It helps reduce fever due to infections or vaccination and relieves headache, toothache, earache, sore throat, teething discomfort, and minor musculoskeletal pain.

Dosage/Directions for use:

Children (2 months to 12 years): The recommended dose is 10–15mg/kg per dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed, based on the child's body weight and clinical response.

Infants below 2 months of age: Administration should only be upon the recommendation of a healthcare professional.

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 75mg/kg/day or 5 doses within 24 hours, whichever is lower. Treatment should generally not continue for more than 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.

Administration: NOVAMOL Paracetamol Suspension 250mg/5mL is administered orally. Shake the bottle well before each use and measure the prescribed dose using a calibrated measuring device. It may be taken with or without food.

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment or active liver disease.
