PHILSITZ - Sitagliptin Tablet 50mg

Indications / Uses: 
PHILSITZ Sitagliptin 50mg is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It may be used alone or in combination with other oral antidiabetic medications or insulin.

Dosage/Directions for use:
Adults: The usual recommended dose is 100mg once daily. The 50mg tablet is primarily intended for patients with moderate renal impairment, who should take 50mg once daily.
Patients with severe renal impairment or end-stage renal disease require a lower dose of 25mg once daily.

Administration: Sitagliptin 50mg is administered orally. It may be taken with or without food.
Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to sitagliptin or any component of the formulation, including those with previous serious hypersensitivity reactions.
