Indications / Uses: 
is indicated for the management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes) in adults. It is prescribed when dietary adjustments, regular physical activity, and weight management alone are insufficient to achieve proper blood glucose control.

 should not be used in individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to gliclazide, sulfonylureas, sulfonamides, or any component of the formulation. It is contraindicated in patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus (insulin-dependent diabetes), diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic pre-coma, or diabetic coma. This medication should also be avoided in individuals with severe liver impairment or severe kidney dysfunction, as these conditions may increase the risk of complications.
