TELMEBET-PLUS- Telmisartan+HCTZ Tablet 40mg/12.5mg

Indications / Uses: 
is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. The combination provides complementary blood pressure-lowering effects by relaxing blood vessels and promoting the excretion of excess sodium and water.

Dosage/Directions for use:

Adults: The recommended dose is one tablet once daily. Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan 40mg alone may be switched to this combination. Dosage adjustments should be based on the patient's clinical response. 

Administration: Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide is administered orally. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day, and should be swallowed whole with water.

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide, sulfonamide-derived drugs, or any component of the formulation, pregnancy, anuria, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, and refractory electrolyte disturbances.
