MILGESIC - Paracetamol Susp 125mg/5ml 60ml

Indications / Uses: 

is indicated for the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and children. It is commonly used to reduce fever associated with infections or immunization and to relieve headache, toothache, earache, sore throat, teething discomfort, and minor body aches. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic by reducing pain and lowering elevated body temperature.

Dosage/Directions for use:

Children (2 months to 12 years): The recommended dose is 10–15mg/kg per dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed for fever or pain. The dosage should be based on the child's body weight and clinical response.

Infants below 2 months of age: Use should only be upon the advice of a healthcare professional.

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 75mg/kg/day or 5 doses within 24 hours, whichever is lower. Treatment should generally not exceed 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Administration:  Paracetamol Suspension is administered orally. Shake the bottle well before each use and measure the prescribed dose using the provided measuring device or an oral syringe. It may be taken with or without food.

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment or severe active liver disease.
