MILGESIC - Paracetamol Susp 250mg/5ml 60ml

Indications / Uses: 

MILGESIC Paracetamol Suspension 250mg/5mL is indicated for the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in children. It is used to reduce fever associated with infections or immunization and to relieve headache, toothache, sore throat, earache, and minor body aches.

Dosage/Directions for use:

Children (2 months to 12 years): The recommended dose is 10–15mg/kg per dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed. The dosage should be determined based on the child's body weight.

Infants below 2 months of age: Use should only be under the advice of a healthcare professional.

The maximum recommended daily dose is 75mg/kg/day or 5 doses within 24 hours, whichever is lower. Treatment should generally not exceed 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Administration: MILGESIC Paracetamol Suspension 250mg/5mL is administered orally. Shake well before each use and measure the dose accurately using a calibrated oral syringe or measuring cup. It may be taken with or without food.

Contraindications: This product should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation. It is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment or severe active liver disease.
