Indications / Uses: 

Lagundi Syrup is indicated for the relief of cough and symptoms associated with common respiratory conditions in children. It helps ease respiratory discomfort by providing bronchodilating effects that may help relieve bronchospasm and functioning as an expectorant to assist in loosening and clearing mucus from the airways. This herbal formulation helps provide symptomatic relief from persistent cough and supports easier breathing by helping improve the flow of air through the respiratory passages.

Dosage/Directions for use:

Children 2–6 years: Administer 5 mL (1 teaspoon) 3 to 4 times daily.

Children 7–12 years: Administer 10 mL (2 teaspoons) 3 to 4 times daily.

Children below 2 years: Use is not recommended due to limited safety information. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 40 mL. Treatment should generally not continue beyond 7 days without medical evaluation, especially if symptoms persist or worsen.

Administration: Lagundi Syrup is administered orally. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure proper mixing of the formulation. Measure the recommended dose using an appropriate measuring device and take according to the prescribed schedule. Adequate fluid intake may help support mucus clearance during treatment. Consult a healthcare professional if cough symptoms persist, worsen, or are accompanied by other concerning symptoms.

Contraindications: This product should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Lagundi (Vitex negundo) or any component of the formulation. Avoid use with antitussive medications for productive coughs, as suppressing cough may interfere with the natural removal of mucus from the respiratory tract. Use should also be avoided in patients with severe liver impairment unless advised by a healthcare professional.
